Wehn asking Danny Gomez about his upbringing; here is what he said.
Growing up in Los Angeles as a 90’s kid was a trip but also taught me so much about the streets, learned the Hustle and never looked back. Being a kid and witnessing the L.A Riots was real AF.
There was only a few choices I had growing up and I hated school so I dropped out and became an Entrepreneur because the Hustle runs in my DNA
Music always played a huge part in my life since before I was born. Watching my pops play guitar, sing and kill it on the keys was a daily thing and till this day he gets it in.
I remember as a kid I would go to sleep with all kinds of crazy melodies in my head and since I can rememberer Ive always had love for music.
Inside the house it was Vicente Fernandez, Juan Gabriel, Los Bukis, Los temerarios man (all Spanish)… too many to name but you get the point. While outside it was Pac, Snoop, Dre, Biggie, DJ Quick, Cypress Hill, Ice Cube and that was my daily routine.
Music has always been in my life and will be till the day I die. The best of both worlds in 1 is what I bring to the table
falling into acting was out of the blue and led me to become SAG eligible which is something that I also have a passion for.
My Goal in life is to take advantage of opportunities so that I can create more opportunities for everyone else. The goal is to have a production company that will create opportunities in the film and music industry. theres too much talent out here in these streets, gapping the bridge between talent and people that know what to do with it is key.
Westcoast music was my biggest influence growing up, the lifestyle that brought happiness and pain to our lives.
In the next 2 years I see myself running a successful entertainment company, creating opportunities and lifestyles. With the help of elite selected key players because I believe that teamwork makes the dream work.
“Persistence beats resistance” is the quote I live by
